Employment law update with Willans

9am - 1:30pm

Experts from Willans LLP are hosting an event for employers and human resources professionals in May to refresh their knowledge on employment law requirements.

The lawyers will be looking at recent and forthcoming developments in legislation and case law and, if time allows, will use the Willans crystal ball to predict (with an unknowable degree of accuracy!) what Brexit might mean for employment law over the next few years.

There will also be opportunity for group discussion. This session is aimed at directors, those with responsibility for HR and risk management, HR managers and legal advisors to help make sure they are not falling foul of the law or exposing the organisation to unnecessary risks.

It will be presented by Chambers-rated employment partner Matthew Clayton, head of Willans employment law team with 20 years’ experience in this area, and his colleagues, Jenny Hawrot and Helen Howes. The session will take place on Tuesday 9 May at Stonehouse Court Hotel (just minutes from M5 J13) from 9am until 1.30pm. It costs £30 to attend and includes lunch and refreshments. An ‘early bird’ discount of £5 applies to tickets booked by 1 April 2017.

For further information, or to see a list of all Willans’ forthcoming seminars, please visit www.willans.co.uk/events. You can book this session using the Eventbrite link or contact them directly on events@willans.co.uk or call 01242 542916.
