The following European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) call is now open for partners to begin the application process. This call invites proposals that support inward (foreign direct) investment into the Gloucestershire Local Enterprise Partnership area. The budget for this call is £500K. The closing date for submissions is 10th November 2017.
This call predominantly seeks to invest European Regional Development Funds in activities that will overcome barriers to improve the value and percentage of non-UK owned businesses in Gloucestershire. The key priority is to attract new foreign investment into the county pro-actively. However, activity that also provides support to new and existing foreign owned businesses, facilitating growth and motivating business retention in Gloucestershire for the long term, is welcomed.
A workshop took place to discuss the opportunity, and provide potential applicants further detail on the requirements of the call and the application process for the funding. This workshop was held on Wednesday the 11th October at 2:00pm in the Growth Hub.
