Update from GFirst LEP Business Groups
GFirst LEP’s 10 business groups are a representation of Gloucestershire industries, working towards a strong economic future for the county.

GFirst LEP's Business Groups provide us with the vital input needed to inform strategies at a local and national level and direct our responses to recovery and growth.
Working with The Growth Hub, education establishments, and the public and third sectors, they represent a truly collaborative approach and continue to develop a strong, business-rich focus to the county’s future.
Business Group Manager at GFirst LEP, Elizabeth Weaver comments: “Our groups offer us that all important link to industry, informing us of their challenges and opportunities in real time. They are a key asset to the LEP, our projects, our Inward Investment priorities, and in supporting our education team’s work with bringing business skills needs to the attention of the schools network.”
Stephen Limbrick, Chair of the LEP’s Construction & Infrastructure Business Group: “The reason the C&I Group is effective is because it relies on the quality of the membership and the sheer time and effort of some of the members who have put in hundreds and hundreds of voluntary hours, attended many meetings (outside of our regular Group meetings), done presentations, instigated initiatives and so on, all to the benefit of the LEP and its representations to other parties and Government. We've also helped to build relationships with the public sector in the development and planning system. Much of this has been unseen work. Most of all our work is based around our belief in Gloucestershire and its economic and cultural prosperity.”
