Do you have large undercover and secure storage facilities near to Sedgmoor or Bridgwater close to the M5 to help Somerset farmers?
The plight of flooded farmers in Somerset has urgently come to our attention with them desperately needing to use large secure and undercover storage facilities for their essential animal feed including hay and straw bales.
The coordinator of this campaign is Forage Aid, a charity organisation is seeking around 80 - 100,000 sq foot of storage space free of charge for up to 6 months.
The ideal facility would be free of any racking and not situated near any residential areas. Good transport access will be essential to accommodate articulated lorries.
All necessary transportation has been organised and Tesco have kindly donated all national haulage free of charge towards the cause, with JCB have donating unloading equipment.
If you think you can help or know of some facility that can be used until drier conditions, then please let us know at info@gfirst.co.uk.
