The Employment and Skills Team, part of GFirst LEP, can provide a coordinated package of support to staff to find new roles if employers are faced with the prospect of making redundancies or restructuring. With an emphasis on staff recruitment and development, staff can be assisted to acquire the necessary skills and training to undertake new roles. Extensive support can also be given in the form of writing CVs and job interview practice whether you have many staff affected or just one. The team can also work with employers recruiting to help attract vital skills through apprenticeship schemes and work placement opportunities.
