European Regional Development Fund (ERDF): Call NOW OPEN to Applications
Are you an organisation with the capability and capacity to deliver an EU funded programme in Gloucestershire? Do you share our vision for a better, more successful county?
5 July 2019
The final call for applications for funding through ERDF has been published (28th June 2019). Gloucestershire has £6m available across four areas of strategic importance:
Innovation, SME* Competitiveness, Low Carbon and Environment
*Small and Medium Sized Enterprises
Your project would need to fit with the strategic objectives of the county, and give good value for money. ERDF can cover up to 50% of the project costs, so the project would need to find the match funding.
Gloucestershire published the local ESIF strategy in 2014(https://www.gfirstlep.com/about-us/our-vision/eu-structural-investment-funds-strategy/ ) which provides the context for this funding, and would help you to consider how your project idea might be relevant.
Last year Gfirst refreshed their Strategic Economic Plan (SEP). This provides a useful starting point for understanding the current foundations and priorities within the county.
