Last Friday, more than 60 business leaders from the Forest of Dean attended the bi-monthly Forest Means Business breakfast briefing to understand more about the Government’s recent budget proposals from Millhall consultants and to learn about GFirst LEP’s submission of the Strategic Economic Plan to Government.
Hosted in Mitcheldean, delegates were able to glean a number of essential business insights, hints and tips from a line-up of inspirational speakers including Neill Ricketts, the CEO of Versarien, based in Cinderford and website expert Matt Lewis-Garner.
Organised by Stuart Barnes and supported by GFirst LEP, the Forest Means Business events are free to attend and are held at Vantage Point in Mitcheldean every two months with the next event on Friday 20th June from 7.45am until 9.30am.
Stuart Barnes, Managing Director, SB Consultancy Ltd, said: “These events have a great impact in supporting existing businesses in the area to share knowledge, advice and inspiration for business growth and I am looking forward to organising the next event in June. These events are free to attend, and I would urge any local business that wishes to join us to get in touch.”
