The VIP launch event for the Gloucestershire Business Show (GBS) will be kicking things off for 2016.
Held at the prestigious Wilson Art Gallery & Museum in Cheltenham, the evening promises to be an insightful and collaborative occasion where attendees can learn more about one of the largest business to business events in the county.
There will be welcome refreshments upon arrival, a bar, taster tables serving fresh local produce with a chef commentary and demonstrations and presentations throughout the evening.
Keynote speakers include David Owen - CEO of GFirst LEP, Professor David Hopkins - Dean of the Royal Agricultural University (RAU) and Academic Lead on the Farm491 project and ‘AgTech’ project.
Co-organiser, Antonia Coles from County Business Shows said: “This launch will be a great opportunity to learn more about the show which is so much more than an exhibition.
“We have a brilliant line-up of key speakers and this will be a prime opportunity to meet with other business people, make new connections and think new thoughts, so be sure to have your business cards at the ready.”
Other speakers confirmed for the event are Belinda Wilson - Director of Glosjobs, Glosinfo and winner of the Entrepreneurs Award 2015, Mark Owen - Managing Director of Moose Marketing and PR and Editor of Punchline Gloucestershire business magazine, Rob Baxter of Red Admiral and of course the GBS team themselves.
Guests should aim to arrive at 6pm on Wednesday 10 February, with presentations and speakers starting promptly at 6:30pm, after time for networking the launch event will finish at approximately 8pm.

The Gloucestershire Business Show takes place at The Centaur, at Cheltenham Racecourse, on Wednesday 18 and Thursday 19 May and will be free for visitors.
There will be space for 140 exhibitors offering a wide range of stand sizes and costs designed for the micro SME through to the international corporations plus an awards evening at Pittville Pump Room.
The show will give delegates an opportunity to speak with more than 2,000 business people, including CEOs, managing directors and business owners, learn about new business initiatives in Gloucestershire, source new products and suppliers and ultimately increase sales.
It will include stages featuring keynote speakers and expert panel sessions as well as technology, cyber, innovation and training hubs offering advice and seminars.
