Daily updates are being issued via the LEP’s E-newsletters, social media activities have ramped up massively and the GFirst LEP website is being updated daily with all the very latest information from HMGovernment.
The LEP have also produced a business survey that asks how the Coronavirus outbreak is affecting your business and what specific help your business needs. This important information is then being swiftly shared on a daily basis with Government departments.
GFirst LEP Chief Executive, David Owen said, “I am very proud of the GFirst LEP and The Growth Hub staff for swiftly changing to working from home and supporting businesses within Gloucestershire. We want to let Gloucestershire businesses know whatever sector they are in and whether they are a sole trader, an SME or an international company exactly what the support is for them. Our survey has already been completed by more than 300 local businesses in just a few days.”
“Ourselves and all our partners are directing businesses to the GFirst LEP website since we are providing daily updates with the current advice and help. Though our Growth Hubs have temporarily closed, all the Business Guides and Navigators are working remotely and are speaking to hundreds of businesses every day.”
